The Olympics started up in Paris and we got a firsthand illustration of what it means for Christians to live in Negative world.
Rule 50 of the Olympic Charter “No kind of demonstration or political, religious
or racial propaganda is permitted in any Olympic sites, venues or other areas.”
We now know that there is an exception to this rule.
You can’t have this propaganda; you can't mock religion - unless.
Unless you are mocking and despising the Christian faith.
The Paris Olympics had various ceremonies in different locations around the city.
In one of the locations, they decided the best way to represent the Olympic spirit of athletic competition was to feature drag queens -
since, of course, when I think of the best of the best athletes in the world, my mind naturally turns to drag queens.
Who can forget those wonderful basketball games, soccer games, marathons,
high jumps, and shot puts, winning the gold while dressed in drag. Right!
What we are seeing is open mockery of the Christian faith.
I’ll show this short clip where they mock one of the central elements of the Christian faith, the last supper.
So why is all this happening?

So true - Satan is active in this world and desperately trying to convince the world to reject the savior Jesus Christ.
But there are other aspects to this as well.
You can see what another commenter put up as well - There should have been six women at the last supper.
We have truly entered a crazy evil age. Jesus is condemned because he only chose male apostles.
Sorry ladies, I’m going to go with Jesus, the son of God before your feminism. Jesus chose 12 male apostles because that is what God wanted and God is always right.
Christians follow Christ and the Bible - not the insane feminism in the world that chooses meeting a bear in the words over meeting a strange man. If you’ve not
seen this - it is all over the internet right now, women saying they would rather trust a bear not to kill and eat them than trust meeting a man they don’t know.
Then Neil Shenvi posted a quote from Carl Truman:

For people in my age range, you remember a different world. I remember when people at least had to pretend to be good Christians - even if they weren’t.
Schools didn’t schedule events on Wednesday nights or Sundays because those were devoted to the church.
Aaron Renn calls that time, positive world.
Yes, not everyone believed. There were still people who mocked the Christian faith - but they were a minority.
Later we entered neutral world. This was a time when the world didn’t care about your Christian beliefs. You’re a Christian? Good for you. But they’d say the
same thing if you were an atheist, Buddhist, vegan, or anything else.
In the last 10 or so years - we’ve entered negative world.
We are now in a time where the world actively hates Christianity. If you are a unitarian type Christian who holds firmly to the sacred text of Bernie Sanders and his prophet, AOC - then you are good.
Anything to the right of that is pronounced as absolute evil.
Christians can no longer afford to sit on the sidelines.
We are called to represent the king who has all authority in heaven and earth. And that means we take no crap from a Jesus hating world.
This is not a call to violence - but a call to be bold in calling out evil and making it clear that Jesus is still king.
