Pregnant people and the PCUSA
The Presbyterian Church USA is meeting in Salt Lake City in 2024. Since I’m going there to observe this meeting I was reading up about past meetings. Here’s one tidbit I found.
At their 2022 meeting, they passed a resolution that
"affirms that women and pregnant people are full moral agents, created in the image of God, and it supports their moral capacity to decide whether to continue or end any given pregnancy. "
How can you tell when a church has completely abandoned the Bible?
There may be many clues but I think that when they don’t know that pregnant people are women is a pretty good hint.
Another hint is when their main concern for pregnant people is that they continue to have a choice about murdering their unborn baby.
